here's a good example of how editting can really give something ok, much more impact.

sad to say I actually watched this at the time , audience reaction means all in this - dont think it was edited too much

umm, OK. Putting it another way, seeing that edit is not quite the right word, (all good learning stuff for me), the director has cut this sequence in such a way to keep 2 blokes on a big stage interesting. The director is showing us as many occurences as possible to give us a cohesive feel of what it was like to be in the auditorium when these two blokes were on stage. The sequence for me is cut very quickly which in me generates a emotional response. I feel the director did well. Within all the energy and beat, I find Peirs(if that's his name) very amusing attempting to stay with the beat. The woman on the panel is so in time with it as is the audience behind her.
The two blokes are good value too.

Piers dont quite get it does he
What I meant was that the director has cut the audience reaction well to engender the enthusiasm ,as well as the act , which was funny.
btw there was a better kid dancing who is being used emotionally by the show .Not good .
