My, who's that handsome chap with a fine head of blonde hair?
and the more i look at these images the more i really really like them, you had a good photographer with you, with a really clear eye for capturing what may seem the mundane, but really makes it all that much more interesting. Would have liked to have seen some pictures of rigging. or taps.
I also like the compostion, which allows for the light and structure of the building to be conveyed, with movement in some cases, while narrative is evident in others. And although I'm sure Susan Sontag would agree as her thesis is that the universal presence of the photographic image in our lives as something we take for granted has made the photograph more real.
ohmygod. context is burrowing into my brain, i'll never look at another picture without cosidering the aesthetic emotion and how it relates to the significant form...
Somebody make it stop.
